INSPIRATION BEHIND THE VASA SKIRT
While Lilya was playing in the snow one day she met an old lady. This lady talked to her and gave her so much knowledge, far too much for Lilya to carry at once. Because of this the old lady transformed her skirt and gave her have huge pockets to carry the load. Whenever Lilya wore this skirt she felt powerful; knowledge will always do that to you. She also looked pretty good in it too.
Each collection is inspired by a Saga written by the designer Kimberley Stacey. The Vasa Skirt is part of the Lilya Saga Collection. Lilya is a strong Icelandic woman that travels to Sweden and discovers a hotel made of Ice.
